Founded in 1991 in the heart of the East Village, The Neighborhood School serves families from 3K through 5th grade. Our 11 multi-age classrooms foster a love of learning through project-based, inquiry-driven education.
We are a full-inclusion school with a deep commitment to anti-bias, anti-racist education, social justice, and social-emotional learning. Families, teachers, and staff work together to create a place where every child thrives.
