Every Parent Is a PTA Member
At The Neighborhood School, every parent and guardian is automatically a member of the PTA. There are no dues or sign-up requirements – you are part of our community simply by being a TNS family.
What the PTA Does
The TNS PTA raises funds and organizes programs that directly benefit our students. PTA funding supports:
- Arts programs – Professional instruction in visual arts, music, and dance
- Teaching assistants – Additional classroom support for every grade level
- School trips – Field trips that connect learning to the real world
PTA Events
Throughout the year, the PTA organizes community events that bring our families together:
- Talent shows and performances
- Potlucks and community meals
- Ice skating outings
- Fall and spring fundraising events
- Welcome Back Breakfast for families each September
- And much more!

The PTA is led by an elected executive board and supported by dedicated committee chairs and volunteers. We welcome your ideas, energy, and participation at any level.
